This is a manual fix for the touch dead spot on the bottom left corner of the DeckHD display. Our final product will have the fix included.
Turn on your Steam Deck and switch to Desktop Mode.
Open a browser and enter the link below to download our script. Vice versa, you may download the script on your PC first and transfer it via a USB stick or SD card: https://deckhd.com/downloads/touch.desktop.download
Once the touch.desktop.download file is in your Desktop, we need to set a sudo password first for your Steam Deck before we run the script. If you’ve done this already, please skip to step 4.
Right click on the touch.desktop.download program, go to Properties -> Permissions, and tick the checkbox for “is executable” and close the Properties window
Double click to run the touch.desktop.download program.
Enter your sudo password when prompted.
The script will initiate and will start flashing the components. Once it finishes, the Konsole window will automatically close. Please restart your Steam Deck.
Upon bootup, your Steam Deck may stay at the logo screen for a while, please wait until it completes the boot process. This could take up to 10 minutes.
